Seattle's Link Light Rail is operated by Sound Transit and forms the backbone of the region's rapid transit network. The system currently operates two lines serving 36 stations across Seattle, Bellevue, Redmond, and surrounding communities.
The 1 Line (green) is the original and longest line, running from Lynnwood City Center in the north through downtown Seattle to Federal Way Downtown in the south. Key stops include SeaTac/Airport, Capitol Hill, Westlake (downtown), University of Washington, and Northgate.
The 2 Line (blue) connects the Eastside to the system, running from South Bellevue through Bellevue Downtown to Downtown Redmond. It serves major employment centers including the Spring District and Overlake Village near Microsoft's campus.
